The Message of President of Iran Deaf Sports Federation

The president of Iran Deaf Sports Federation, Dr. Mehran Tishehgaran sends a message for 2021 Asia Pacific Deaf Football Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Iran, Kish Island (June 1-11). Iranian president is also the chairman of the local organizing committee.

Dear Distinguished Guests,

As the President of Islamic Republic of Iran Deaf Sports Federation and the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, it is my great honor and pleasure together with my colleagues to sincerely welcome you all on the beautiful Island of Kish where “Asia Pacific Deaf Football Qualifying Rounds” and “APDSC 12th Congress” will take place from 01 to 11 June 2021.

We all know the current worldwide heath condition affected total public and social activities all over the world including the deaf sports events. Mostly cancelled or postponed and recently some events have been carried out on online base system and the webinar meetings, negotiations and discussion replaced traveling abroad.

COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic imposed plenty of restrictions on the normal lives situation of people and the Ministry of Health officials are seriously involved in helping health improvement in different countries that suffer from the present health situation.

In such hard health situation, we decided to support deaf sports activities in our region by bidding for hosting these events, and I would like to appreciate you indeed for supporting us by your warm presence and participation in these regional activities. And we will do our best to provide you with all desirable and healthy situation during your stay on Kish Island.

Our special thanks go to ICSD Chief Executive Officer, APDSC President, Representatives to attend the Congress, Technical Delegate, Officials, Administrative Staff, Referees, Deaf Football Players, Coaches, Medical Group and of course to Kish Island officials, local Authorities and my colleagues as well.

I wish you all a successful and fair competitions and safe stay here and wish you all a very good health condition and safe flights back home.
